Bitgram extended

Our death has been exagerated... we're old (Happy Birthday Joy !) and we're slow ;) We're back with a small puzzle game for your entertainment (I hope so) : BitGang, which is an extended remake of the excellent Bitgram iPhone game by French studio 1button

In this game, you put tetris like pieces that can't rotate on a playboard : there are two different colors and you can only put a piece on it's opposite color. When you drop a piece on the board, you get a new one of the other color and you earn one point. Game stops when you can't put anymore piece on the board, so there is a minimum of strategy to be used.
Best way to control the game is using the keyboard :
- Cursor keys to move the active piece
- Enter to drop the piece on the board
- Z to cycle between the pieces (or 1-4 to select a piece)
- R to restart game
- H for help
- C for credits
- M to change game mode : Normal / Extended
You can also use joystick in port #2

As re-making the original game for the C64 was not fun enough we also added an "extended" mode, where you have more different boards, more pieces and also a change of board and pieces from time to time when your reach 10 or 50 points increments.

It was quite a refreshing experience to work on something different after beeing stuck for a while on demo parts and building the BYG-shell which was a good parenthesis but took so much energy. We're very happy to have Yotis back on this release for the title screen and he's already cooking some ever better things for our next release. Thanks to Magnar for trusting us and making us so nice tunes, we're sorry it took so long (apologies due to Xiny too, thanks again) Big pat in the back to Shine, thank you for your friendly feedback which is always appreciated.
I'll give some details about the tools that were used to build the game in a future post, to also give credits to some cool tools where it's due.

See ya all for the next release
